The pipeline installations are controlled from a central point, the Dispatching Department, which is the nerve center of the operating system.

The department coordinates all the operations required to implement the pumping schedules issued by Scheduling, in real time, 24 hours a day. It also performs remote supervision of pipeline and installation safety.

Dispatching uses a remote instrumentation and control system that operates all the pipeline's automated installations (dispatching stations, relay stations and terminals). The SCADAsystem continuously monitors parameters showing whether the network is operating correctly. In particular, the condition of the valves and the motor-driven pumps, the line's hydraulic parameters, metering and related equipment.
