The pipelines operate 24 hours a day, transporting different types of petroleum products for a number of customers.
Due to the complexity pipeline operation and customer needs, managing transportation operations requires extremely scheduling. This is where the Scheduling Department comes in.

Transportation requests

The Scheduling Department:

Works out and updates the delivery schedule on a weekly basis.

Records, tracks and validates transportation requests from customers.

Negotiates with customers, resource managers and loading and receiving plants to determine the actual terms and conditions of their operations.

Makes sure that supply plans provided by customers and resource managers are correctly implemented.

Prepares the weekly pumping forecasts and forwards them to the resource managers and loading plants.

Schedules dispatching and delivery operations, calculates and distributes the corresponding daily transportation plans.
